SandyMy life before I met Jesus was normal, or so I thought.

I worked part-time in a local charity shop which I enjoyed, and it gave me the chance to get to know people - I didn't know anyone when my husband and I came to live in Herne Bay 5 years ago. But since I stepped through the doors of The Beacon Church my life has changed for the better:

I was healed of a very painful condition in my back by responding to receive healing in the name of Jesus by the visiting evangelist Kevin Bartlett. The congregation were asked to touch the part of their body that needed healing; I touched my neck and back and felt a wonderful sense of well-being and a tingling in my spine. Jesus healed me! Although it was wonderful to be free from pain, the encounter I had with Jesus was more than my expectations. I was healed from the inside out, whole and complete.

Thank You, Lord God, for saving me and giving me the promise of everlasting life.

On 29th July 2007, aged 58, I was baptised after giving my life to my precious Jesus
